Mercutio’s Tattoo

care bear drawing

“Yellow & Red”
I have the color yellow because it stands for happiness Mercuito because he always seems happy and excited. Most of the time it seems like not a thing is wrong with him. The color red stands for the killing of Mercutio because it was a dark time when he died.

“ Red arrow”
The object stands for cupids arrow that Mercutio was talking to Romeo about how he was shot with cupids arrow. He told Romeo  that “ If love be rough with you, be rough with love” He  also tells him “borrow Cupid’s wings,
And soar with them above a common bound.” Mercutio talks about cupid so i decided to put cupids arrow on my tattoo.

“Care bear”
I put the care bear because there playful just like he is, and it seems like he is a joker. Jokers would be the only people to get a care bear also. The reason i say he is like that is because he makes fun of Queen Mabb he says “Her whip crickets bone, the lash film” and make fun of her much more than that.

“Red sword”
This stands for the dispassion and hatred towards Tybalt. Because he and Tybalt fight about Romeo. Tybalt ends up killing Mercutio, that’s what the red on the sword stands for is his death, and the deep depression of him dying.

Best Sentences

On The Run Two The Fugitive Factor

By:  Gordon Korman

I found the four best types of sentences in this book.

I found a great simple sentence on page one. The boy stepped timidly into the lobby of the Red Jacket Motor  Lodge.

This one is a pretty good complex sentence on page one. The boy’s shorts and T-shirt were ragged and dirty, but so many kids dressed that way these days that the clerk barely noticed.

Compound sentence on page three. And then a fire engine squealed into the hotel parking lot, sirens blaring.

Complex sentences/Adjective clauses on page eleven. Aiden wheeled to the right, nearly flipping the quad over, at the last instant he recovered and blasted down a narrow alley between the trees.

The Great Quarterback Switch

September 25th, 2009 by

My book is called “The Great Quarterback Switch,” by Matthew Christopher. This book is about two Quarterbacks that are extremely active, and love sports and watching sports. There was an accident though and it paralyzed one of the twins from the waist down and he might never be able to walk again. Yet the twins think they might have ESP and be able to switch bodies in the middle of a football game so they both can still play. They decide to go talk the the older neighbors about if he believed they might have it to, and he said that he does belive in it. Its outrageous when they learn how to switch bodies but you have  to pay real close-attention to it because if your not you wont even notice that they switched, because when they do its very interesting how they keep everyone from knowing that they have.

These boy’s must be really close to have the power to switch bodies, the first time they try they don’t succeed so they try again and once again it does not work. They talk to each other about it and make sure each other is wishing ant thinking and trying as hard as they can to switch and they were. By the time the next football game gets here a few plays in Michael the one in the wheel chair notices that his brother tom is tired, so he tells Tom the other twin to try to switch with him and they try and try so hard to switch and all the sudden bang they switch, and its crazy how all the sudden it happens and what happens right after they switch. But you have to read the book to figure out the rest that happens two the twins.

This book is very creative, and interesting and I think many people would like this book unless you like reading boring non-active books. My book “The Great Quarterback Switch” is a great book and if you like sports or action you would love it. It never gets boring, and once you start the book good luck stopping. The tone of the story seems to be exciting and very active, to me this book makes me feel like I’m in the game playing the positions that they play its really cool.

Education is that which discloses to the wise and disguises from the foolish their lack of understanding. ~Ambrose Bierce
Ambrose Bierce survived from 1842 until 1914 when he passed away. he also use to be a news paper columnist, satirist, and essayist, also he was a short story writer. Ambrose is best known for he crazy and interesting short stories. Ambrose was influence by Edgar Allan Poe. He wrote this quote because he thought most people were infer or to him. And that he thought maybe he was smarter than most others. This quote is telling me that i might have a lack of understanding and that if i am that he is calling me foolish.
